debi here. wow i didnt realise just how much blogging i had to catch up on, still got to do pics from all the way back in skagway!! jeeez, its a full time job this! so yes waaaaaaaayyy back ages ago when we were in skagway we took these pics of our skagway blog office HQ, pretty nice office i have to say

so we left skagway on the bus. robert had found us a free tent so we took that in case we found ourselves in the same homeless situation altho i think we might leave it here as we dont plan to camp again, im sick of mosquitos! lol. i have to say tho robert was a real lifesaver and a very nice guy, dont know what we'd have done without his help

so we arrived in whitehorse on monday the somethingth (loose track of days and dates so easy) we had no where to live yet again, but the lovely kind bus driver dropped us at the visitor centre so we could phone a hostel from there, he then waited on us, then dropped us at the hostel door, how nice is that!!!

we checked in, dumped our bags and headed to the nearest pub, sat out and soaked up the lovely sun :) beer sweet beer

whitehorse is an ok place, nothing very exciting apart from the fact it had a skate shop and debbie got some new shoes. other than that the weather was nice and we just hung out and enjoyed it mostly

the hostel had free bikes so one day we went for a bike ride along the klondyke river

the first 3 nights we stayed in a mixed dorm which was fine except for the old man that snored all night!! then on the last day we got moved to our own wee cabin in the garden, it was much better :)

the best thing about whitehorse was the people we met at the hostel, all very friendly. we even organised a bbq for our last night there, it was well good

robin even managed to whip up a wee birthday cake for one of the women staying at the hostel, she'd already gone to bed with no celebrations so we dragged her back out and sang happy birthday to her


so that was whitehorse, il do another blog for dawson city right now!
